Marie-Leonne advises companies on mergers and acquisitions, (re)structurings, joint ventures, and (employee) participation structures. She specializes in (private equity) acquisition transactions and guides her clients from structuring through to closing. Within N/P, Marie-Leonne plays a crucial role as compliance officer.
Marie-Leonne brings over fifteen years of notarial practice experience. She began her career in 2010 as a candidate civil-law notary in corporate law at a leading law firm on Amsterdam’s Zuidas and has been with N/P since 2014. In January 2024, she was sworn in as assigned civil-law notary.
Alongside her practice at N/P, Marie-Leonne has been affiliated with Utrecht University for over ten years as a lecturer for the course ‘The Civil-law Notary, Law and Society’ at the Faculty of Law, Economics and Governance.
Marie-Leonne has a keen eye for the transaction dynamics, sees the bigger picture, and understands the interests of all parties involved. She guides her clients with clarity, even where the subject matter is complex.
