Maarten advises institutional investors, private equity investors, property developers, public authorities and financial institutions on a broad range of real estate matters. His expertise includes, among other things, real estate transactions, the transfer of real estate companies, project development, security rights and financing. Prior to joining N/P, Maarten spent seventeen years working in the real estate and M&A practice of leading law firms, both in Amsterdam and London. He also gained in-house legal experience at a financial institution, enabling him to approach matters from multiple perspectives. Maarten is known as an innovative thinker with strong commercial insight.
